March 18, 2021  After much anticipation, the student-designed solar sculpture has been installed by OUC at Exploria Stadium, home of Orlando City Soccer and Orlando Pride.

Joo Kim receives FAEA Art Educator of the Year award

September 29, 2020  Joo Kim, associate professor of studio art, has been honored with the 2020 FAEA Higher Education Art Educator of the Year Award. Kim is the only UCF faculty member to have received this award to date.

July 24, 2020  Stella Sung’s third opera will be a musical adaptation of “The Secret River,” a children’s fantasy book by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.

SVAD Professor Matt Dombrowski Helps Secure $100,000 Grant For Limbitless Solutions

July 23, 2020  Adobe is providing free Creative Cloud product licenses and training to Limbitless team members and committing a $100,000 grant to support plans for expanding the Limbitless Lab at UCF.

NEA Big Read Celebrates 6th Year of Programming with ‘Silver Sparrow’

June 16, 2020  UCF receives a grant of $15,000 to host the annual event in Central Florida featuring the Tayari Jones novel in early 2021.

Photography student selected for the 31st ACA Student Exhibition

May 22, 2020  Photography student Michele Meyers was selected to exhibit her work in the Atlantic Center for the Arts’ 31st Annual University Student Exhibition. Meyers is the third UCF student in recent years to receive this honor.
