There is a world that is alive and thriving while we sleep. These lives unfold when the world is resting. Nightclubs are a place where people can go and live their dreams; be whomever they desire. I have chosen clubs in the gay community for their apparent sexual freedom.

These photographs show a place where patrons are not afraid to be who they are underneath their skin, where no one will be stereotyped or thought of as abnormal. This desired freedom comes to life within these walls as the music plays and the lights dance upon their faces. It is my intent to capture these night patrons as they perform, not only for the camera, but also for themselves. My curiosity of this world has driven me to make photographs that show what occurs in this world while we slumber.
