The human struggle is an incredibly powerful condition that narrows the gap between one another. Witnessing this struggle bonds us, freeing up dialogue, and creates a space for rapport.
Our constructed world perfectly suits the human body in its fully capable form—those who lack that fullness are alienated in this man-made environment.

Rajesh Durbal was born without the body that enables the ease of integration into a society that relies so heavily on independence. He was born with underdeveloped legs and only one fully formed arm, leaving the choice to his parents to amputate his legs. Despite setbacks in his life, Rajesh has set the daunting goal of competing in the Hawaiian Iron Man. His Struggle is important to us all, forming a compelling example of the tenacity of the human spirit.
