The Bachelor of Design in Architecture program is a partnership with Valencia Community College and the University of Florida, enabling students to complete an NAAB accredited architectural program in Central Florida. Students earn the credentials needed to become a design professional or begin preparing for a career as an architect.
Through the 2+2+2 program, you can complete your associate’s degree at Valencia, your bachelor’s degree at UCF and your master’s degree at UF. It’s convenient, affordable and flexible. Every step of your education in architecture can be completed right here in Central Florida. The associate's and bachelor's degree programs are housed at the joint-use University Center on Valencia's West Campus, and the master's program is located at UF's Citylab Orlando in downtown Orlando.
The UCF Undergraduate Catalog provides information about degree requirements and course descriptions. SVAD Advising also provides a flowchart-style PDF document to help visualize course prerequisites.
Remember that your degree requirements are always listed in your UCF Degree Audit that is available in MyUCF. Also, remember that although your degree audit requirements are determined by your catalog year, course descriptions and prerequisites may change yearly.
If you are a current UCF student in another major you can login to MyUCF and change your major to Architecture Pending. The Registrar's Office provides a handout explaining how to change your major online.
