The UCF School of Visual Arts & Design is proud to announce that BFA candidate Seth Czaplewski has been accepted with scholarship for MFA degree study in sculpture by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. Notably, Seth has been accepted many weeks prior to his BFA graduation date.

As an undergraduate at UCF, Seth has created an original body of compelling work consisting primarily of hand-built clay abstractions which are sited in natural and man-made outdoor settings where they are left to weather, to change, and to sometimes disappear into the personal collections of viewers passing by. Once placed, Seth carefully photographs each object and scene thus completing the formal and conceptual move from pedestal-based object to temporal installation to archival art photograph.
